MARBLE

Marble is a non-foliated, metamorphic limestone composed of recrystallized carbonate materials, most commonly calcite or dolomite. It is formed under immense heat & pressure and is widely considered the more beautiful stone material due to its colours & swirls.

GRANITE

Granite is a common type of coarse-grained, igneous rock that is granular and phaneritic in texture. It is an extremely hard, Quartz based rock formed from cooling of volcanic magma.

TRAVERTINE

Travertine is a form of limestone deposited by mineral springs, especially hot springs. The stone is characterised by pitted holes and troughs in its surface, which are then filled and polished to produce their own unique character. Travertine also possesses a very fibrous or concentric appearance.

LIMESTONE

Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed largely of the minerals calcite and aragonite, which are different crystal forms of calcium carbonate. Most limestone is composed of skeletal fragments or marine organisms such as coral, forams, molluscs & shells.

QUARTZ STONE

Quartzite has similar if not stronger physical-mechanical features than Granite. The fantastic beauty of this sometimes expensive product lends itself to Feature Walls and Panels.

Engineered stone

Engineered stone is a composite material made of crushed stone bound together by an adhesive, (most commonly polymer resin, with some newer versions using cement mix). The two commonstones used in producing these products are marbles and quartz.
